BRAND

Finest Call

MY ROLE

I created the brand's mood board and directed and managed a photo shoot and a video shoot for the project. As Creative Director, I also oversaw the design and execution of the brand's website. Big props to my fave food photographer, Neil Burger, Kindred Content (video production) and the Domino design and development teams.

A new website (and sexy content to go with it) might be Finest Call's finest call to date.

For the last 20+ years, Finest Call has been the go-to premium cocktail mixer for bartenders and mixologists all over the world. With over 50 unique mixers, purees and syrups thousands of cocktails using Finest Call are enjoyed by international patrons every day. What Finest Call lacked, though, was a digital presence indicative of the huge value they bring their customers and partners.

When Finest Call approached my company, Domino, we knew there was ample opportunity to highlight the brand's pillars digitally. We used a product collection layout and functionality to focus on the vast array of products Finest Call offers. To better explain the brand's trustworthiness we tapped the team's on-staff pro mixologist for a much-needed about video, and the design team and I found several instances to incorporate motion into the site to reflect Finest Call's dedication to constant innovation. Cheers, cheers and cheers.

who doesn't love a good gif?

Sure, a picture's worth a thousand words, but what about when you have more to say? Time to make a gif. My idea for the homepage's header was to capture a taste of Finest Call's versatility with eight starkly different scenes and animate a fluid motion of one hand picking up and putting down the drinks.

I directed the shoot, but it wouldn't have happened without photographer Neil Burger, prop stylist Traci Smith, food stylist Mele Ortiz or my Domino team.

the right kind of magic

Finest Call employs a talented mixologist, and he is quite a character. Dean Serneels was the obvious star of Finest Call's new explainer video, and he brought some interesting things to set (including a magic wand). Needless to say, we ended the day with a lot of "bonus" content, and I worked with the pros at Original Six Media to make sure the end product stayed focused and on-brand for Finest Call.
